As a black businessman and foundation of the reggae sound system scene with Quadraphonic sound system, Cowboy has made a significant impact on the music industry. Also known as the go-to for hiring out Dj equipments from a microphone to a full on soundsystem for any event.
Known for inspiring countless individual Djs, Cowboy has kick-started the careers of many DJs in the music industry with his platform of SLR Radio as far back as the late 80’s. His influence extends beyond the turntables, as he is also a veteran reggae sound system owner of Quadrophonic sound system and a beloved SLR Radio presenter. Week in and week out, Cowboy has become a musical legend, captivating listeners on SLR Radio London with his passion for reggae music, Gospel music and more.
Cowboy’s journey as a reggae radio pioneer and a champion of great music has entertained millions of listeners over the decades. His dedication to the craft has made him a household name in the reggae community. Only recently, at the end of December 2024, Dj Cowboy paid tribute to his fellow veteran DJ, DJ Fatman, who passed away mid December 2024. This heartfelt performance showcased Cowboy’s deep respect for his peers and his commitment to keeping the reggae spirit alive.

I think he is probably the most versatile dj’s I have known and one of my favourites. Playing music across the spectrum and different eras too. From Rhythm & Blues, Country, Gospel, Soul, Reggae etc he was unparalleled
